Bayonne to hold Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Items that can t be safely discarded in the regular trash are considered hazardous.
Mayor James Davis has announced that the Hudson County Improvement Authority (HCIA) will hold Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Stephen R. Gregg- Hudson County Park.
The venue is Lot #1, lower level down the road and down the hill from the 48th Street entrance on Kennedy Blvd.
In previous years, the event took place in downtown.
“I would like to thank the HCIA for having this event in Bayonne each year,” Davis said. “I urge our residents to take advantage of this important and useful service provided by the HCIA.”
