Largest set of ancient bells listed on China's top archives heritage list

The Zenghouyi Bells, the world s largest set of musical bronze bells, have recently been listed as part of the fifth batch of items inscribed to the Chinese Archives and Documents Heritage List by the National Archives Administration of China.

City site from 3,000 years ago found in Central China

Chinese archaeologists have uncovered a new ancient site, the Dahuzui Site, in Chibi, a county-level city in Central China s Hubei Province. The new site is the largest and best-preserved Western Zhou Dynasty (1046BC-771BC) city site ever discovered south of the Yangtze River, according to a press release from Hubei Provincial Museum on Monday.
