MLA Bellad was on his way to the crematorium to attend the funeral of a friend who had passed away and was taken by surprise by the carcass of dogs, pigs, and cats strewn around on the road, making it difficult for the people to move. HDMC staff rushed to the place and started cleaning the road. Bellad said he would take steps to set up an electric crematorium in Dharwad to avoid pollution.
