The Police Union Blames the city council. Why pay that much money and they decide to leave after they get the training . Creating servants out of Police Officers is a smokescreen for city council this put in place policies that are driving recruits away. 100 officers retired or resigned last year. The department has been on a similar pace this year pushing streetready officers below 900 at times. The plan goes to a committee for review next week. Police need help to fine the man who first recorded see someone in the stairwell of San Francisco General Hospital before a missing womans body was found. The San Francisco chronicle reports the hospital made four requests to the sheriff to go to the hospital for Lynne Spalding would vanished from her room september 21. A building engineer found her october 8 while inspecting a locked stairwell. Investigators say four days earlier a man told someone that there was a body in the stairwell. Kron 4 has Learned Police want to speak to man who they say was admitted onto the fifth floor from the emergency stairwell back on oct. 4th ucsf police saying the man had seen someone lying on the stairwell and reported it to a senior staff member at the hospital. Reporter investigators believe this happened back on october 4th just before 7 30 in the morning the information was reported to the San Francisco Police Department four days before Lynn Spalding was found dead.
