Huawei Sri Lanka launches ‘Seeds for the Future’ 2020 December, 16, 2020 Leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, Huawei launched flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the 5 th time in Sri Lanka earlier this week, on 14 th December 2020 with presence of Hon. Prof. G.L. Peiris Minister of Education, H.E. Mr. Qi Zhenhong Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mr. Liang Yi CEO of Huawei Sri Lanka. The Seeds for the Future programme give access to knowledge on the ICT industry for tertiary students from Sri Lankan universities. The programme further delivers them insight on ICT industries and Huawei’s latest technologies. 16 students representing from 10 universities from 5 provinces are selected for this programme.
