消防局表示，雖然還是有新增的案件，但都在掌握中，且7月14日當天並無新增確診感染源，僅有2例居家隔離期間陰轉陽的個案，以及近幾日新增感染源案件都在個位數。
市府進行科學分析及彙整確診者疫調、足跡大數據資料，再透過不斷追蹤、確認及通報足跡涉及縣市，全面落實執行平寧計畫，才能獲得今天的防疫成效。
市長侯友宜強調，平寧計畫執行架構以區公所為中心，由區長擔任區總指揮官，執行精準疫調，擴大匡列接觸者及篩檢。藉由消防局每日上午9時、下午2時及6時，掌握最新確診名單後，運用EMIS系統的資料分析，針對區公所疫調匡列的對象，進行追蹤管制及整合分析，並採取跨縣市及跨區通報聯防作業，有效的全面掌握阻斷傳播鏈。
