Private Placement ). Pursuant to the second tranche of the Private Placement, the Company sold and issued 3,874,516 common shares of the Company at a price of C$0.50 per common share for gross proceeds of C$1,937,258. In total, Chakana sold and issued an aggregate of 18,060,516 common shares at a price of C$0.50 per common share for gross proceeds of C$9,030,258 pursuant to the Private Placement.

One hole (SDH20-165) was designed to test beneath the exposed H4 breccia, and a second hole (SDH20-166) was designed to explore a deeper extent of the Huancarama East breccia discovery (see figure 2, and news releases dated January 12, 25, and February 9, 2021). Since initiating drilling at Huancarama in late October 2020, thirty HQ diamond core holes have been completed.

Chakana Copper Corp. (TSXV: PERU) (OTCQB: CHKKF) (FSE: 1ZX) (the
Chakana ), has added a second drill rig to its Soledad project located in Ancash, Peru in order to accelerate both the exploration and resource drilling programs. The Board of Directors has approved an expanded 26,000m drill program for the 2021 calendar year, with 16,000m of resource drilling for inclusion in the Company s Soledad maiden resource estimate expected later this year. Resource drilling will focus on recent discoveries at Paloma East, Paloma West, and Huancarama (Fig. 1). Resource drilling is expected to also be completed on Breccia 7 (Bx 7), a previous discovery announced in 2019 (see news release dated July 29, 2019).
