Mya Thwate Thwate Khaing became a rallying point for hundreds of thousands of demonstrators in towns and cities across Myanmar when video went viral of her being shot in the head by security forces while protesting against a military coup.
Mya Thwet Thwet Khine, who just turned 20, died on Friday morning after she was shot in the head by troops during an anti-coup in Myanmar s capital Naypyitaw on February 9.
Mya Thwate Thwate Khaing had just turned 20 when she was taken to hospital with what doctors say was a head wound from a live bullet shot at her while she was protesting against the coup in the capital Naypyitaw.
