With Thai golfer Moriya Jutanugarn holding a two-shot lead on the 15th hole during the final round of the tournament, the 26-year-old New Taipei resident sunk an eagle to flip the leaderboard and extended her lead with a birdie at the 16th. She was able to maintain the top spot and finish two shots clear of Jutanugarn. Hsu will take home US$195,000 and be eligible to compete at the U.S. Women s Open scheduled for June 3-6 in San Francisco.

Hsu Wei-ling on Sunday rode an eagle at the 15th hole to an emotional two-stroke victory in the Pure Silk Championship, capturing a long-awaited first LPGA title.
“I thought I wouldn’t cry,” said the 26-year-old, who broke down in tears after a two-putt par at the final hole to seal the win.
However, the emotion had been building since her eagle at the par-five 15th hole, where her second shot kicked onto the green and she made the putt to suddenly find herself with a two-shot lead.
Taiwan's Hsu Wei-Ling birdied the final hole Saturday to cap a six-under par 65 and join Thailand's Moriya Jutanugarn atop the leaderboard at the LPGA Pure Silk Championship.

Lydia Ko ended her three-year LPGA title drought in impressive style Saturday, firing a final-round 65 to win the Lotte Championship by seven strokes.
Former world number one Ko, a two-time major champion, didn t put a foot wrong as she notched her 16th LPGA title but her first since the 2018 Mediheal Championship.
Her 28-under par total of 260 at Kapolei Golf Club in Oahu, Hawaii, put her seven in front of South Korean s Park In-bee and Kim Sei-young, Ireland s Leona Maguire and American Nelly Korda.

Filipino golfer Yuka Saso gained a share of the clubhouse lead Thursday, April 15, in the first round of the LPGA Lotte Championship at the Kapolei Golf Course in Hawaii.
Saso fired an eight-under par 64 in a bogey-free round as she converted eight birdies in this Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour event, which has 144 players going for the $2 million purse.
