Cartoon Network’s first-ever localized “Tom and Jerry” series that is set in Singapore has finally received a release date months after Warner Bros. Discovery first announced the project. Pulling the veil: Cartoon Network Asia officially revealed in a YouTube video uploaded on Oct. 5 that its first-ever localized “Tom and Jerry” series, set in Singapore, will be available on Cartoon Network and for streaming on HBO Go starting Oct. 21. About the schedule: The new series will consist of seven episodes, with a new one released weekly on Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network Asia’s YouTube channel.
The iconic franchise will feature unique Asian stories and locations – produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios in association with Aum Animation Studios India.
The preschool age-focused channel will include favorites such as ‘Tom & Jerry,’ ‘Baby Looney Tunes,’ and ‘Grizzy and the Lemmings’ alongside new shows like ‘Mittens & Pants’ and ‘Vida the Vet.’
