We still have a few areas that are not ideal and weve got a cold front that were going to be tracking in the next 24 hours. So some returns up there in extreme northern california. Back home, were clear. Concord, livermore. Good air quality in the north bay and the city parts of the east bay. But our inland valleys and the south bay still looking at derate air quality. Well get into some breezy southerly winds that will clean the atmosphere out even more. So look at that, 48 in the los altos hills, 59 over in alameda with fog in santa rosa and looking at the milder numbers in the north bay, its cooler in livermore. Lisa arjun is here with what to expect outside today. Nice. You know, we have a cold front on the way. Weve been talking about it for days. So the clouds are going to increase. The winds are going to increase. But this is exciting not only because its going to clear out the air quality, but itll put those fires out to the north. So you may have wanted it a little sunnier and warmer for the folsom street fair, but we will be looking at the day to stay dry with a mixture of clouds and sun. Live doppler seven were clear inland and look at our air quality. Everyone almost on the good side except for redwood city and livermore san jose moderate. But it will continue to improve. Were looking at 60 in oakland, 46 in novato 49 in napa. So were considerably milder this morning in the north bay and from mt. And were going to take a look at that visible satellite picture because one thing you may notice is there are multiple fires burning, not just around. And the oregon area, but we also have fires burning right around Northern California. So when you take a look there, you have that one right there around the western side of oregon. We have another one, northwestern california. And that smoke is just coming into our area. So were going to have to deal with it. In addition to all of this fire danger will be elevated for the north bay mountains, lake and solano counties starting at 11 p. M. Tonight when that red flag warning goes up. Better. So heres whats causing all the smoke in the air. A number of wildfires burning in the northwest corner of the state north of eureka, into oregon, and theyre impacting the entire region. Abc7 News Reporter stephanie sierra tracking the impact. It is hazy out here today. The bay area air Quality Management district says the brunt of the impact is south of the golden gate bridge, which is where we are right now. Conditions north into marin county are improving, but experts tell us it will get worse before it gets better. The bay area is bracing for several days of hazy skies as some of the largest wildfires burning in the us are merging in the dense forests of californias northwest corner. Its causing scenes like this. No sailboats out on the bay, but smoky skies drifting over the golden gate bridge. The forecast models had indicated that we were going to see impacts from smoke, but not to the extent that we ended up seeing yesterday afternoon. So it did catch us a little bit off

Lower 60s where we should be. The last weekend we were talking about 80s but 70s making a come back. And we will enjoy it. Yes, certainly tomorrow, we will talk about mid 70s for afternoon temperatures. Tomorrow, warmest day out of the next several and we will bring back rain chances but most of the weekend does stay on the dry side.
