You have ten original essays, and i think you really touched on a lot of different topics with the different worlds that exists. And i think that mainstream america is not aware of those two worlds, and even though we are talking about them and we are pointing these things out, you did a really good job of laying everything out through these different essays. First of all let me ask you you dedicated the book to tea set, why did you dedicated to her . While tcell is my sister, she is my older sister and she is the original troublemaker. So i wanted to make sure i acknowledged her and she is a one of the people i was talk about in terms of when she and i go back and forth over the years talking about these different subjects and these details and all the books ive done this was the one most appropria
We did a bad job of acknowledging that. And i think many economists said, well, were creating a million and a half jobs a year, so if some jobs get lost by trade, even if its 20 or 25,000, thats nothing well, it is nothing unless youre one of those 25,000 people. And a lot of that was concentrated in places like ohio, wisconsin, michigan, pennsylvania. Those are a very smart group. What do those states have in common every four years . Every four years they have something in common, and i think thats probably what kept nafta and trade very much in our american psyche for such a long time. And here we are in miami beach. It is not a surprise that a lot of the cuban population is in miami and in florida. Floridas been a battleground state, and our cuba policy a lot of it has to do with the geography of where i cubans live in this country.
