I m probably wrong, but I feel like the winter of 2020-2021 has been more like the winters of my childhood than in any other in recent years. I saw a chart on a website called The Golden Snowball which keeps a running tally of snowfall totals, awarding the Golden Snowball to the town that has received the most snow for the season, and this year, Binghamton is king. We ve had so much snow that we are (so far) beating Syracuse which is no doubt one of New York State s snowiest cities and we re not beating them by a little, but by a lot.
