Fall River native George Stephanopoulos to guest host Jeopardy!

The prime time quiz show where contestants are given the answers and supply the questions, now in its 37th season, has been cycling through a variety of guest hosts after the death of longtime host Alex Trebek in November 2020. Stephanopoulos is the latest guest host, and has taped a week of episodes that will air starting tonight.  “I actually never imagined that I would one day be on the stage as a guest host. It was a thrill enough for me the time I was a category or a response,” Stephanopoulos told Jeopardy! producers.  “The minute that I heard I was going to do it and started telling people, everybody lights up when you tell them you’re going to be guest hosting Jeopardy!,” he said. “They think it’s the coolest thing in the world, and after doing it for a week of shows they’re right.”
