“The end of the 2023 Legislative Session marks an important date as a critical first step to lower Hawaiʻi’s cost of living, construct truly affordable housing, protect our natural environment, and promote the health and wellness of our residents,” according to Gov. Green.
The 32nd Hawaiʻi State Legislature will be remembered for large investments in housing to help the homeless, but some lawmakers are disappointed in cuts to education and bills that died at the last minute.
