Housing helps Blackfoot women start a new chapter The governments of Alberta and Canada will fund new housing for Blackfoot women who intend to move to Lethbridge from nearby reserves. This unique project will provide 14 safe and stable housing units for Blackfoot women and their children who are relocating from the Kainai, Siksika and Piikani reserves. These homes represent a new start or a different chapter. Some of these women may be starting new jobs or attending school. Others may be fleeing difficult circumstances and looking for safety and stability.

Housing on the way for Lethbridge seniors

The governments of Alberta and Canada are bringing more mixed-income housing to Lethbridge-area seniors. Some parts of this page will not display. The units will incorporate a mixed-income model, allowing residents to pay rent at a rate that makes sense for their individual situation. Located across from a park, the new homes include on-site supports for the residents who should be moving in by early spring 2022. The total project will create about 91 jobs.
