SULPHUR, La. Stine Home & Yard recently donated $10,000 in building materials to Fuller Center for Housing Disaster ReBuilders. Disaster ReBuilders has set up an operations base on the property of Celebration Worship Center in Sulphur and plans to remain in the area as long as possible. The organization is also partnering with Olivet Baptist Church for volunteer housing.

all right, here s something that s not so nice, the housing slump that literally ravaged parts of this country is now starting to hit cities that we thought would probably be immune from all of this housing disaster, but look at this. in the last year alone, home prices in seattle, seattle, had a bigger decline than price necessary las vegas. economists are saying that this wave is at the end of the so-called cycle, so that s suppose to sib citytute for good news on that front. joining us is fox business network s archore to the closing bell, liz claman. good to see you again. why are these place that is seem to be immune from all of this getting hit now? probably because banks around this nation finally realized they have to they ve been holding on to the foreclosed properties in all these areas, whether it s seattle or atlanta or minneapolis, which didn t look to be as hard hit as some of the other areas in the nation, like las vegas or san diego or phoenix.
