Iron Dome undergoes further tests - Land Warfare

In latest tests, Iron Dome intercepted and destroyed simulated existing and emerging threats, including simultaneous interception of multiple UAVs. Rafael Advanced Defense System and the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) have completed further advanced tests of the Iron Dome air and short-range missile defence system. Tests involving Israeli Air Force (IAF) personnel at a site in southern Israel ‘demonstrated a significant upgrade of the system’s technological capabilities’, Rafael announced on 16 March, by testing Iron Dome in multiple ‘complex scenarios’ to intercept and destroy simulated existing and emerging threats. Achievements included the simultaneous interception of multiple UAVs, as well as a salvo of rockets and missiles.
