The fire is currently at 35 acres and 20% contained, according to CAL FIRE.  The Whiskeytown National Recreation Area said the east side of the area is being evacuated. This includes the Visitor Center, Park Headquarters, East Breach, Kennedy Memorial, Clair A Hill Whiskeytown Dam and all the roads and facilities in the area.
