House panel OKs postponement of BSKE to Dec 2023

MANILA - The House Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms on Tuesday approved a proposal to postpone the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) scheduled on Dec. 5, 2022 to Dec. 4, 2023. "We at the Commission on Elections are appealing to you, our honorable members of Congress, I hope you will be able to grant an additional increase in their honoraria because their tax exemption was removed," Garcia said in a statement. The poll body chief together with other officials of the Commission attended the organizational meeting of the committee on Tuesday, which was head
