The pleasure of seeing a full room of people connecting and having a good time is what drove Nick Jones to open the first Soho House social club on London's Greek Street in 1995.
Soho House Bangkok is reported to open its doors mid-February, becoming the first House in Southeast Asia. Located within the quaint colonial-style building of the former Eugenia Hotel, on Sukhumvit 31, the House will have areas for eating and drinking, an event space and a pool terrace.
Last month, Soho House, as per tradition, hosted a Hard Hat pre-opening dinner at the site of its much-anticipated Bangkok club in Sukhumvit. Soho House’s Hard Hat dinners were conceived as a get-together for committee members before a house officially opens, and has remained a celebration of creative communities all over the world.
