3,749 new COVID-19 cases, 297 deaths recorded in SA
There are now just under 89,000 active cases in the country.
This after 3,749 new cases were reported, taking the total to over 1.4 million.
Over 1.3 million of those have already recovered leading to a recovery rate of almost 91 percent.
Unfortunately, there have been 297 more deaths, taking the death toll to almost 46,000.
