Quantitative easing guidelines numbers in the policy statement and signal a commitment to low Interest Rates if the fed did not hit its unemployment or inflation target. Quote, one participant favored retaining the existing threshold language on the ground that removing it before the Unemployment Rate reached 6. 5 could be misinterpreted.
