They have two spots on this top 50 list, you talked about one the other is where 76 and 676 get together. That interchange between downtown and the ben franklin bridge. That can be a nightmare for drivers, as well, and when you total up the amount of lost time, because of this traffic, that works out to about 2. 4 billion in lost productivity every year. Drivers, it doesnt get worse than this. A 12mile stretch of red lights, crawling cars, and pure commuter agony. Interstate 90 in chicago around Ohare Airport is considered the worse traffic bottleneck in the country, resulting in 16. 9 million hours of wasted time.
