Around this time last year, we used the phrase “peak mortadella,” but it turns out that we spoke too soon. With the launch of Morts a mortadella sandwich pop-up from Il Covo chef Ryan Campbell the city is now officially obsessed. The menu has not one but eight different (though all mortadella-based) sandwiches, along with a bevy of sides, including wait for it mortadella salad.
