The Melbourne Police Department will be holding its first “Academy Recruit Sign-on Day” where we welcome our newly hired academy recruits to the Melbourne Police Department.The recruits will sign their employment offer, securing their police academy sponsorship from the Melbourne Police Department. The event will be held Monday, October 9, at 2 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center located at 1551 Highland Avenue in Melbourne.
