A young Upper East Side woman who was struck by a speeding SUV during last week's rain showers succumbed to her injuries after spending days following the crash in critical condition.
Sophia D Antoine died Friday after being hit as she was crossing York Avenue at East 8th Street at around 9.30pm Tuesday as the rain drenched NYC s busy roads.
