KUALA LUMPUR: The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the death of a 15-month-old toddler at a care centre in Negri Sembilan, says Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hasan.
SEREMBAN: The 15-month-old child who was found dead in a cloth cradle at a childcare centre here had died from a compression on the neck, say the police.

The number of people with active Covid-19 infections in Malaysia has also gone up to 23,433.
Currently, 126 patients are in intensive care, with 54 requiring ventilator support.
In a statement, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah
(pic) said there were two imported cases while the rest were local transmissions.
He said that Selangor recorded a new record high of daily cases with a total 776 cases.
This is followed by Kuala Lumpur with a total of 457 cases and Sabah (254).
Dr Noor Hisham also said that from the three deaths recorded on Friday, one of the deceased was a 69-year old man from Negri Sembilan who died at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar.
