PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a Rs3.5 billion budget for the year 2021-22 for the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) with an aim to increase and improve the services at the hospital.
Health and Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra stated this Thursday while speaking at an orientation session with 142 newly inducted junior officials at the KTH.
Chairman, Board of Governors (BoG) Prof Dr Nadeem Khawar, Medical Director Prof Dr Roohul Muqim, Hospital Director Dr Zafar Afridi and Associate Hospital Director Dr Saud Islam were present.
The minister said for the first time in the history of the province, the government had released a 100 percent development budget by July 1.
