here is what some of the professionals are saying this morning about how they see the conditions here. this is life or death. every hospital in the state of new york and across the united states should have the supplies they need. we are afraid for our patients. we are afraid for our families, afraid for our lives. they all fail to protect us, as health care workers, as citizens. they re putting all of us at risk every single day. reporter: we just got a statement from mt. sinai, the largest hospital system in the city, very concerned about this and saying, essentially, we understand the fear and concerns and we will continue to do everything possible to protect our heroes on the front lines. we will not stop until this crisis is over. they say they re moving heaven and earth to try to get supplies not just for the city and the state. this hospital and others, they re looking for private donations.
