Mr Nicholas Theodosopoulos

Mr. Nicholas Theodosopoulos, 93 of Cambridge Nicholas Theodosopoulos, 93, a much loved and respected member of the Cambridge community, died Wednesday (April 14, 2021) at his home. Mr. Theodosopoulos was born in Manchester, NH in 1927, one of 9 siblings. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1948. He started his career as a chemical engineer with DuPont but grew tired of the corporate world and bought out his brother in-law at the Coney Island Restaurant in Cambridge in 1963. There, with his family, he built upon the legacy founded by his father in-law at The Coney Island until he sold the restaurant to his oldest sons in 1998. He not only survived a catastrophic total loss by fire of the building and business in 1985, but he built it back bigger and better in 1986, expanding into catering also. Theo’s Restaurant and The Forum Restaurant continue in this legacy today.
