It was a unique experiment in Mysuru to disseminate agricultural information
The digital outreach programme connecting farmers with scientists and researchers and which provided the stakeholders a learning platform, has evoked positive response from the farmers and helped create a database of information and agricultural knowledge.
The programme conducted every Monday since the last 3 months, is set to conclude in the first week of March and has created a database of information which the farmers can tap at leisure.

SIPCOT has appointed Grant Thornton Bharat LLP to conduct a detailed research on potential of the proposed food parks at Manapparai in Tiruchi district and in Theni district.
A webinar meeting last week focussed on the advantages accruing from the mega food parks involving both established industries and start-ups. For the 250-acre food park at the 1,077-acre SIPCOT Industrial Park in Tiruchi entailing an investment of ₹200 crore, there are 110 applicants, Chairman of Tiruchi Trade Centre and former president of Tiruchi District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association N. Kanagasabapathy said.

Staff at a care home in Chatteris received a Christmas gift from a March florist to say thank-you for all their hard work - especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
Santa arrived at The Gables during the evening of Christmas Eve to hand over several bouquets that had been made by Corinne Tuner Floristry.
