Control of what they called an unusual fire. Burning on top of water fire on water. Reporter 8 to continue feet high burned over a bogy marsh filled with 3 to four feet of fire. Firefighters rely on cat walk for the flames but when those caught fire they slog through the marsh. This is nonoperational this plant so there was no threat of power outage but threat from transmission lines above. Pg e transmission lines contain high voltage and in some cases smoke matter burning from fires cause arcing between the lines ordown to the ground. That was a concern. Reporter woyl pass road was closed for about 2 hours preventing people from getting to work and home. Last summer we had the other side of the road catch on fire and we had pretty much the same situation when stuck out here.
