Hords Creek Cowboy Church in Coleman is hosting a PlayDay from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15 with registration beginning at 9 a.m. There will be activities for all ages including arena horse events such as leadline, barrels, straight, poles, goat slap. There will be non-horse riding events such as calf scramble, sack race, catch the calf, and goat dressng. There will be crafts, bounce house, and concessions available.
Later that day there will be a concert featuring Coffey Anderson. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and blankets because seating is minimal. 6 and younger are free!

Stan Adian, age 59, of Coleman, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Mr. Adian will lie in repose starting at 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2021. The family will host a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Brown Ranch Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Seth Moore, pastor of Hords Creek Cowboy Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Ranch Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. A funeral procession will leave from Stevens Funeral Home going to Brown Ranch Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday before the graveside service.
