Over the years, there have been several images from Mars, thanks to the number of visitors it had over the last couple of decades or so from various nations such as the United States, China, and now, even the United Arab Emirates with its Hope Mars probe.
However, a never before seen image was beamed back to Earth by Perseverance, the latest Mars land rover created and sent by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Space exploration is going well this 2020 and 2021, especially with the arrival of three Mars visitors: the Hope Mars orbiter from UAE, the Tianwen-1 rover from China, and the Perseverance land rover from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the United States, delivering their own images of Mars from space and the land.
But, back in the 1980s, a Russian lander was able to visit Venus, the second planet from the Sun, and took some shots of the planet s surface before it melted down.

The images acquired had been circulating online lately on Facebook and other social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, but it had a misleading caption saying that the images were the only clear photo ever taken from the surface of Venus by Soviet spacecraft Venera 13.

Out of the total 4,300 applicants for the UAE Astronaut Programme, 1,400 are Emirati women in this batch, that’s about 250 more than in 2018.
The Hope spacecraft entered the Martian orbit successfully on February 9. And soon, the UAE may add a new feather to its cap with the possible selection of the first female astronaut, as the country inches closer to announcing its next two astronauts.
Five women and nine men are vying for the coveted roles – in the race to the second batch of Mohamed Bin Rashid Space Centre’s (MBRSC) UAE Astronaut Programme for the future crewed space flights.
