UAE hashtags that brought people together virtually amid lockdowns.
‘#InThisTogetherDubai’, ‘#TogetherAtHome’ and ‘#HopeMarsMission’ had a positive impact on people amid the COvid-19 pandemic, a new study has revealed.
According to the study, the hashtags had a wide-reaching impact on the UAE’s education sector.

The UAE’s Hope Probe is ready to transition into the science orbit, the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) has confirmed.
The announcement came following the completion of the probe’s commissioning and testing phase. The completion of testing is ahead of schedule and the transition to science manoeuvres will take place earlier than planned.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the United States of America and the United States Space Agency (NASA) on the successful landing of its Perseverance rover on the surface of Mars.
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that the joint scientific exploration of the red planet will deepen human knowledge about its secrets, its past and its future.
Sheikh Mohammed tweeted: “A new mission from the Earth joined the red planet… We congratulate the United States and the US Space Agency for the success of the successful landing of its space ship on the surface of Mars .. A joint scientific exploration of the red planet which will deepen human knowledge about its secrets, its past and its future.”
UAE may soon have its first female Emirati astronaut

Out of the total 4,300 applicants for the UAE Astronaut Programme, 1,400 are Emirati women in this batch, that’s about 250 more than in 2018.
The Hope spacecraft entered the Martian orbit successfully on February 9. And soon, the UAE may add a new feather to its cap with the possible selection of the first female astronaut, as the country inches closer to announcing its next two astronauts.
Five women and nine men are vying for the coveted roles – in the race to the second batch of Mohamed Bin Rashid Space Centre’s (MBRSC) UAE Astronaut Programme for the future crewed space flights.

The UAE space mission paid tribute to the US space agency after it successfully reached the Red Planet.
As Nasa s Perseverance Rover made a successful Mars landing ahead of schedule early Friday morning, the UAE s Hope Probe was one of the first to tweet its congratulations.
