4 Alarm Fire At The Former CTC Film Developing Business
This past Wednesday, May 19, at 3:05, Bennington Police, Bennington Fire and Bennington Rescue were dispatched to a report of a structure fire located at 254 Benmont Avenue Bennington, Vermont.
This is the location of the former CTC Film Developing business and is currently unoccupied. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and confirmed the building was a fully involved structure fire.
This structure was quickly upgraded to a four-alarm fire, requesting mutual aid from; Bennington Rural Fire Department, North Bennington Fire Department, North Hoosick Fire Department, Hoosick Falls Fire Department, and Pownal Fire Department. North Pownal Fire Department, Pownal Valley Fire Department, and Shaftsbury Fire Department were on standby to assist with other fire calls.

HOOSICK FALLS Rensselaer County is running a vaccination site at the North Hoosick Fire Department today and appointments are not necessary.
People hoping to get the Moderna vaccination offered at the 22106 Route 22 fire house can sign up for an appointment or call 518-270-0450, but county officials said people can walk in and get a vaccination without an appointment too.
Local governments are turning to walk-in appointment to court unvaccinated people who may not have access to the internet or may be uncomfortable scheduling appointments ahead of time. Coronavirus resources
More people in Rensselaer County will have the chance to be vaccinated Tuesday.
There is a pop-up vaccination clinic at the North Hoosick Fire Department. It is on Route 22 in Hoosick Falls.
The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and it is only for people living in the county.
They will be using the Moderna vaccine, so 16 and 17-year-olds are not eligible.
