La Salleâs eighth annual Day of Giving is Tuesday, March 23.
For seven years, La Salle University has called upon its global community to make a difference for Explorers of today and tomorrow.
The eighth annual Day of Giving, on Tuesday, March 23, will be no different. This annual tradition brings together Explorers everywhere to help develop leaders and change lives, and support student scholarships and La Salleâs historic commitment to first-generation students.
âAll told, Day of Giving over the last seven years has raised more than $2.2 million in support of La Salle University,â said Vice President of University Advancement Daniel P. Joyce, M.A. â01. âThis year, Explorers, we need your help. Gifts of any size will continue this important tradition, improve accessibility to a Lasallian education, and make an immediate difference in the lives of our students.â
The three-year fundraising campaign for La Salle’s Honors Program crossed an important threshold.
For T.J. McCarrick, Esq., B.A. ’12, La Salle University changed his life. In particular, the Honors Program helped him sharpen his analytical skills, build his strongest friendships, and embrace lifelong values.
An attorney based in the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, McCarrick believes the Honors Program also prepared him for a rewarding career.
“La Salle and the Honors Program, in particular equipped me with the analytical tools to make sound decisions on behalf of clients, but it also taught the importance of finding people to invest in your future, and of bringing common sense to bear on complex problems,” said McCarrick, a Norristown native who studied political science and history.
