Montgomery County parents frustrated by summer school issues
Parents in Montogomery County are expressing frustration, saying their kids aren t getting a chance to learn in summer school.
ROCKVILLE, Md. (FOX 5 D.C) - Some parents in Montgomery County say they are continuing to be frustrated with MCPS even after school is out, saying that their kids who are trying to attend virtual summer school, have yet to receive a link to log on for the class.
One of those parents is Stefanie Marques whose daughter will be a junior at Northwest High School and is currently signed up to take an online Honors Pre-Calculus course this summer.

Kylie Bedard, daughter of Amy and Joe Bedard of Saco, was co-president of the National Honor Society, and a member of Student Council and the Community Leaders Club. She participated in varsity soccer, as well as indoor and outdoor track and field. She has been appointed to the United States Naval Academy, and has committed to run track and field for the NCAA Div. I USNA. She plans to study English.
Zara Boss, daughter of Sarah Bouchard and Justin Boss of Woolwich, is an accomplished artist whose excellent work has been honored by her teachers. She is a member of an advanced ballet training program, and the creator and producer of an original contemporary ballet. Zara will attend Bard College, double majoring in theater and dance with a concentration in music.
