She was elected to the country’s consultative council– Majlis A’ Shuraa, in 2000 one of only seven women to be elected since its inception, and holds the distinction of having been elected twice to this honorary position.
By adhering to her vision and practicing it, she has used her family's business to help women realize that they can have a significant impact on the economy of a country, as well as in the movement toward sustainability in business practices.
