KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia rebounded on Friday from steep falls after Russia's invasion of Ukraine sent global markets tumbling in the previous session.
Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM) has appointed Ho Heng Chuan as the group’s independent and non-executive director effective Friday (Feb 18). Ho, 65, has more than 40 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, treasury, capital markets and finance.
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31 Bursa Malaysia opened lower but turned higher this morning, lifted by selected heavyweights led by IHH Healthcare and Press Metal. At 9.06am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) improved 1.16 points to 1,521.18 from 1,520.02 at Friday’s close, after opening.
