Hong Kong’s Lunar New Year Fireworks Display is a sneak preview of eight acts with a total of 23,888 fireworks set to explode across the Victoria Harbour. With the theme of "China is Strong in the Age of Prosperity", it was staged over the Victoria Harbor opposite the Convention and Exhibition Center at 8 o'clock that night. The public can watch it in Tsim Sha Tsui, Mid-Levels, Central District, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and Hung Hom Bypass. The overall budget of the event was approximately HK$13 million.
