Hong Kong s Siobhan Haughey Makes History With Second Silver Medal Win

Hong Kong Olympics swimmer Siobhan Haughey has won silver for Hong Kong yet again in the 100m freestyle event this morning, becoming Hong Kong’s first-ever athlete to win multiple medals at the Olympics.  Setting another Asian record at 52.27, Haughey finished just 0.31 seconds behind gold medalist, Emma McKeon who represented Australia. Bronze went to Australia’s Cate Campbell, clocking in at 52.52.  In a post-race interview, Haughey, who was still catching her breath, said “I feel very touched by all the support around me. If I didn’t have my coach’s guidance I would have not been able to succeed.”
