The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will ban incoming passenger flights from eight countries for two weeks and reinstate stringent social distancing measures to stifle a looming Omicron outbreak.

Dining after 6pm banned in restaurants, while leisure venues like museums, gyms and theme parks have been ordered to close. Meanwhile, travellers from countries like Australia, Canada, Britain and the US have been banned for two weeks.
