Nestled within the hardwood forests, craggy cliffs and meandering waters of the Tennessee Cumberland Plateau is a 26-room house of stone and timbers, marble and metal, hard work and happiness.
Not so long ago, home owners Greg and Sandra Teslia could feel the ocean breezes poolside at their sprawling, sunbaked stucco Palm Beach, Florida, home. After moving from Toronto, Canada, in 1991, they spent 27 years on Florida’s Gold Coast, where they developed a successful international business. However, lush terrain coupled with their equine interest enticed them permanently to their 7.5-acre Tennessee escape situated adjacent to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.

Leadership Tennessee on Tuesday announced the third class of Leadership Tennessee NEXT, a program designed to offer personal and professional career development for Tennessee’s best and brightest early and mid-career professionals while fostering a greater understanding of Tennessee. There are nine participants from Chattanooga.
The third class of Leadership Tennessee NEXT is welcoming 29 up-and-coming professionals from every region of the state, representing a myriad of professional sectors and industries. Over the course of the program, participants will have opportunities to grow their professional skills and connect to a cross-generation network of state leaders, while participating in collaborative, non-partisan dialogues on issues of state importance.

Leadership Tennessee on Tuesday announced their upcoming class for Leadership Tennessee NEXT, a program that offers development opportunities for the state s up-and-coming professionals.

The newest class is made up of 29 professionals who are early to mid-career from across Tennessee and in various industries, including law, politics, nonprofits, higher education and development.
Over the next year participants will engage in conversations about top state issues, grow their professional skills and collaborate with leaders across the state.
The organization is an initiative of the College of Leadership and Public Service at Lipscomb University and describes itself as collaborative and nonpartisan.
