Hot tub fire damages Richmond home Messenger Post Media RICHMOND A woman and child were able to flee safely from a burning home at 3642 Briggs Road early Friday morning. The Ontario County Fire Coordinator s Office, Honeoye-Richmond Fire Department and Ontario County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate, but investigators said the fire originated from a hot tub near the two-story home. The woman discovered the fire and alerted 911. The Honeoye-Richmond Fire Department was dispatched at 3:10 a.m. Bristol, Cheshire, East Bloomfield, Ionia, Fishers, West Bloomfield, Victor, Mendon, and Hemlock firefighters and Honeoye-Richmond Fire Department Ambulance also responded. The fire was placed under control at 6:57 a.m.
