Amber Fiser pitched nine innings, threw 156 pitches and got the win; she is 8-4. The fifth-year righthander gave up two runs and six hits and struck out 12 for Minnesota (16-5).
Autumn Pease pitched the 10th for her fourth save this season. The conference-leading Wildcats (18-3) scored two runs in the sixth to tie it.
Natalie DenHartog hit her seventh homer for the Gophers in the third inning, and MaKenna Partain hit her first in the fifth.

Alabama cross country standout Mercy Chelangat continues to make history.
Last month, she become the first member of the Crimson Tide to win the individual national champion in the 1,000 meter race, which she won by six seconds.
On Wednesday afternoon, she was named the Honda Sports Award winner, as announced by by Chris Voelz, the Executive Director of The Collegiate Women Sports Awards.
The Honda Sport Award has been presented annually by the CWSA for the past 45 years to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA- sanctioned sports and signifies “the best of the best in collegiate athletics”. The winner of the sport award becomes a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the prestigious 2021 Honda Cup, which will be presented on a telecast on CBS Sports Netwo

Three days ago, the University of South Carolina unveiled a statue of Gamecocks legend A’ja Wilson in front of its basketball court, Colonial Life Arena.
The three-time All-American led South Carolina to a national championship in 2017 and was the first-overall pick in the WNBA Draft just a year later. It was deserved.
South Carolina Athletics Director Ray Tanner said in a release that it was Wilson’s accomplishments both on and off the court that led to her enshrining as a Gamecock legend.
