Hero MotoCorp The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer sold 4,84,433 units in February 2021. This is a 1 percent increase on a YoY basis compared to the 4,80,196 units sold in February 2020. On a month-on-month basis, there is a 4 percent growth compared to the 4,67,776 units sold in January.
Honda s two-wheeler sales crosses 1.5 crore units in South

Honda has announced that its cumulative two-wheeler sales in the southern region (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry and union territory of Andaman) has now crossed the 1.5-crore units mark since inception in 2001.
In the start, the company rolled out its debut two-wheeler Activa for its customers in south region. It took 15 years for the company to gain the trust of its first 75-lakh customers (2001-2016) in the Southern region. The latest 75-lakh customers have joined in just five years. Overall, Honda two-wheelers India continues as the undisputed No.1 choice of South region with over 1.5 crore customers, said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.

Joining other two-wheeler manufacturers in India with their positive growth is Honda 2Wheelers India. The two-wheeler manufacturer has reported that in January 2021, it sold 416, 716 units as compared to 374, 114 units sold in Jan 20, amounting to a growth of 11 per cent. The company mentions, despite the low-base effect of last year due to the industry s migration to BSVI norms, Honda drove the domestic two-wheeler industry s positive momentum from the front in January 21, by adding the maximum incremental volumes (+42,602 units) while maintaining normal inventory levels. Including exports of 20,467 units, Honda s total sales jumped 8 percent to 437,183 units compared to 403,406 two-wheelers sold last year.
