4 sent to jail for rape of mentally challenged woman Our Correspondent, Cumilla Our Correspondent, Cumilla A Cumilla court yesterday sent four men to jail on charge of gang-raping a mentally challenged woman in the district s Homna upazila. The accused are Hasan, 27, Rassel ,20, Yousuf alias Badsha ,25, and Sohag,16, all from Charkuria of Asadpur in the upazila. Abul Kayes Akand, officer-in-charge of Homna Police Station, said all four of them were on Saturday, after the victim s family filed a complaint. According to local sources, the alleged rapists went to a village arbitration to conceal the incident. On information, police intervened and conducted drives to arrest the miscreants.
