DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) Pharmacy leaders across the state say getting the vaccine out to the public will mean, “all hands on deck.”
Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin’s Executive Vice President and CEO, Sarah Sorum, said, “we have not experienced this type of mass vaccination effort.”
And pharmacies all over are getting ready for just that.
Sarah Bowker is the owner and Pharmacist for De Pere Hometown Pharmacy.
“We’re already reaching out to our health departments to see if we can be of any assistance during any of the phases,” aid Bowker.
Health leaders say that pharmacies like Hometown Pharmacy in De Pere will play a critical role in helping get the vaccine out because of accessibility.
